8 Bit

While at Cece's family's house for Christmas break, I had the pleasure of beating The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the first time. The ending left a little to be desired, especially when put side to side with the games of today. But playing an old gameboy title reminded me just how much i actually love the old crappy 8 bit glory days. The times when you could hardly tell exactly what your character was supposed to be. So in honor of that I thought I would put up some videos inspired by my same love.

For some reason I was thinking that this video looked more like a game but after a second look it appears that I was slightly mistaken. Oh well, close enough for me to put it up anyway.

Sweater Meat

This article is f'ing ridiculous but I had to post it cause there's just something about lovely lady lumps.

Enjoy.

If you like T-Pain then ....

So I was working late tonight and El-P came on my ipod and it inspired me to write this post. The song is called "The League of Extraordinary Nobodies" and is off the album I'll Sleep When You're Dead. In case you are new to this rapper, he's pretty great and is head of one of my favorite indie hip hop labels Def Jux. Check it out if you can. Good stuff. There's no video so the following will have to do.

I can never just put one thing on here either. So this is a video I first saw when Cece, Doug and I were watching a Def Jux documentary called Revenge of the Robots and the following video was on the extras of the dvd. Think it's another great song by him and the video is superb in my opinion.

Hope the irony of the title of the post wasn't lost on you

Spreading Holiday Cheer

So while surfing the internet today I found one of the funniest slide shows that I have seen in a long time. The title of the slide show is called "Scared of Santa" and you might think that I am awful but seeing kids terrified of Santa is the essence of humor to me. Here is the link to what I believe is going to be one of the funniest things you are going to see this week. But if you are lazy, which believe me I'm not judging you because I am too, then I picked what I feel are the cream of the crop.

But don't you dare go thinking that I'm an awful person for making this blog because yours truly has seen the dark side of the patron saint of Christmas. Below is all the evidence you need to know that there is a god.
Oh yes .... that is me .... and apparently I was terrified of jolly old saint nick (big surprise). I'm sure this is the reason that I found so much solace in seeing other people experiencing the same exact thing I have experienced one fateful winter morn.
